Scope
Leaders from government, industry, academia, and NGOs will convene to call attention to pressing crises in water management as the phrase "water is the new oil" is becoming a harsh reality with droughts, weather shifts, pollution, and population increases all posing a dire threat to the world's water resources. We believe that one way to address these challenges is through on-going collaboration; bringing people together to share ideas, technologies, information, and methodologies. This Water Management and Global Challenges conference does precisely that: act as a forum to discuss advances and innovations in management, research, technology, and policy affecting water-related challenges, ranging from ensuring public health and safe drinking water and food supply, to conserving precious water resources by energy producers and other industrial, commercial and residential end users
